Need a hand?

PICNIGO scans packaged products in Korean and Asian stores and tells you what they are — and which one to buy. Here's how to get unstuck.

Fastest way to reach a human: email picnigoofficial@gmail.com. It goes straight to the founder, not a ticket queue. Replies usually within 24 hours.

The scan isn't recognising my product

Try these, in order:

Still nothing? Email us the photo and we'll add the product manually.

What counts as a scan?

Each new product you photograph uses one scan. Re-opening a product you already scanned is free and doesn't count again.

I ran out of free scans

Every account starts with 10 free scans and no signup. After that you can buy more in the app, or claim a Founding 100 spot at picnigo.app — 100 people get 100 scans a month free for life.

My purchase didn't go through / I was charged twice

Purchases are handled by Apple. Open the app, go to settings and tap Restore Purchases first — that fixes most cases. If you were charged incorrectly, Apple handles refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com. Email us either way and we'll help chase it.

My scan history or BUY LIST disappeared

This was a bug in versions before 1.0.5 and is fixed. Update to the latest version from the App Store. If history is still missing after updating, email us the account email and we'll restore it.

Is the allergen and halal information reliable?

It's read from the printed ingredient list and is accurate to what the manufacturer declares. If you have a severe allergy, always confirm on the physical package before eating. Manufacturers change formulas, and no scanning tool should be your only check.

Which countries and stores work?

Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore and 20+ others. Within Korea: CU, GS25, 7-Eleven, Emart24, Olive Young, Daiso, supermarkets and duty free.

Delete my account or data

Email picnigoofficial@gmail.com from the address you signed up with and we'll erase everything within 7 days. No forms, no retention argument. See the privacy policy for what we hold.

Requesting a feature

Genuinely — email it. The roadmap is small enough that a single good request from a real user gets built. That's not a slogan; it's how the last three features happened.
